The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) forecasts that Ukraine will be able to produce 29.26 million tons of corn, with exports increasing to 24 million tons if the weather conditions are favorable. In the 2024/2025 season, the figures were 25.94 million tons and 21.4 million tons respectively. This was announced by the President of the Ukrainian Grain Association, Mykola Horbachov, during a meeting with journalists.

“Corn looks very good in the fields, there are no risks at the moment. The only thing that could delay the harvest is the weather. While some farms used to start harvesting corn in September, this year the harvest is likely to begin at the end of September or early October,” noted Mykola Horbachov.
According to the forecasts of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA), in the 2025/2026 season, grain and oilseed production could reach 83 million tons, which is 4 million tons more than the previous season. At the same time, exports are expected to increase by 3.3 million tons, reaching 50 million tons.
