The farm “Asparagus Crane” has announced the opening of the season and the start of sales of the first harvest of green asparagus from Ukrainian fields. At the beginning of the season, the price for 1 kg of the first grade product is 700 UAH/kg, and for the second grade – 500 UAH/kg, according to agronews.ua.

Current price indicators are close to last year’s starts, when due to a cold spring and limited supply, the cost of organic products also started from 700 UAH/kg. In 2025, retail prices for the first batches of greenhouse asparagus ranged from 600 UAH/kg, while wholesale sales from the field reached 800 UAH/kg.
“The year has flown by and here we are again ready to fill your baskets with the freshest Ukrainian asparagus. The same fields, the same care in every row, but already a new harvest of 2026,” the farm notes.
Market experts remind that last year the price of asparagus at the beginning of sales was 25% higher than in the previous season. However, by the end of April 2025, the price began to gradually decrease to 500 UAH/kg, and with the start of mass harvesting in May, it stabilized in the range of 300-400 UAH/kg.
