According to agrarians, currently three sugar factories in Vinnytsia region are continuing the production season, and two more enterprises have already completed sugar production, agronews.ua reports.

It was noted that in total, over 2.3 million tons of sugar beets have been processed in the region and about 330 thousand tons of sugar have been produced.
“According to scientists, the weather conditions in early January did not pose a threat to the wintering of winter crops. A stable snow cover has formed in the fields of the region, providing protection for plants from low temperatures,” the report summarizes.
At the same time, the condition of winter crops in Vinnytsia region for the 2026 harvest is assessed as satisfactory and good.
