“Currently, almost 400 objects of port infrastructure are damaged. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of restoring the port infrastructure of Ukraine is at least 1 billion euros. These figures form the basis of the strategic recovery plan,” Kashuba said.
According to him, since the full-scale invasion due to Russian armed aggression began, 31 civilian vessels have been damaged, and 106 maritime industry workers have either died or been injured.
At the same time, Kashuba emphasized that despite Russian attacks, the ports of Odesa processed 123 million tons of cargo since the start of the maritime corridor in 2023, of which 70 million tons were agricultural products. As for the Danube ports, they have already processed 4.5 million tons of cargo by 2025, added the Deputy Minister.
