Since the beginning of 2026, sunflower oil in Ukrainian ports has increased by 22 USD/ton, according to agronews.ua.

The price increase is explained by a decrease in the supply of sunflower oil against the backdrop of active demand for it. Also, Russian shelling of sunflower oil tanks in various parts of the country has led to a significant reduction in already limited product reserves.
As of the morning of January 9, 2026, the demand prices for sunflower oil in Ukrainian ports have reached 1240 USD/ton CIF port. It is worth noting that similar prices at the end of 2025 were mostly not higher than 1218 USD/ton CIF port.
