The index of industrial production in Ukraine for January 2025 fell by 4.8% compared to January 2024. Compared to the previous month, the indicator decreased by 11.1%. This is evidenced by the data from the State Statistics Service, as reported by agronews.ua.

During the month, production in metallurgy and the manufacture of finished metal products increased by 15.7% YoY, but decreased by 6.8% MoM, while in the extraction of metal ores it increased by 2% YoY and 0.9% MoM.
Overall, in the mining and processing industry, the indicator decreased by 3.5% YoY and 12.9% MoM, with a decrease in mining and quarrying by 0.8% YoY and 1.3% MoM, and in processing by 4.8% YoY and 17.7% MoM.
The supply of electricity, gas, steam, and conditioned air in January 2025 fell by 11% YoY and 0.1% MoM. Electricity production decreased by 13.3% YoY and increased by 1.6% MoM, while distribution fell by 8.8% YoY and 0.1% MoM.
