He feeds the horses and maintains their condition. The oldest mare, Prague, is 16 years old. According to the man, she is spirited and has character. The pony named Ihoryok was once found on the street, and he got his name accidentally – that’s what the first owners called him.
Earlier in Antonivka, due to Russian shelling, one of the mares was injured. Despite attempts to save her, she did not survive. Denys continued the evacuation – collecting animals one by one and walking them out, avoiding shelling and drones.
Currently, the man is preparing for a new evacuation – he wants to transport the animals to a safer region of Ukraine. He has already found a place and people who will help with their care. After that, he plans to leave himself.
