The 2024/2025 financial year was a period of intense work, strategic decisions, and important stages of development for BEDNAR FMT company. Despite the unstable situation in agricultural markets, we focused on developing key products, strengthening relationships with business partners and clients, as well as further improving production quality and implementing innovations. How do Jan Bednar, Sales Director, and Wojciech Bednar, Production Director, evaluate this year?

Jan Bednar: Sales Support, New Products, and Strong Personal Connections

From a business perspective, the 2024/2025 year was very dynamic, mainly focused on supporting key product segments, especially seed drills. One of the most important steps was the launch of the DRILL MASTERS project, which we prepared as a comprehensive platform to support the sales of BEDNAR seed drills.

The DRILL MASTERS project is based on real feedback from farmers from different countries, their experience with our seed drills, and practical agronomic results. Real-life stories are one of the most compelling arguments for clients when making decisions today.

Ukraine is the number one market for BEDNAR, where it holds a leading position in the soil cultivation equipment segment.

Personal visits to Ukraine were also very important, where we had the opportunity to meet with representatives of large agricultural holdings. In addition to presenting BEDNAR equipment, we focused on comprehensive technological solutions and agronomic consulting, which proved to be the right approach to building stable cooperation even in demanding markets.

Furthermore, Ukraine once again confirmed not only its leading position in selling BEDNAR equipment but also the leading position of the BEDNAR brand in the soil cultivation equipment segment in the local market. Therefore, I highly appreciate the work of our entire team and individual business partners who demonstrate a high level of professionalism, dedication, and loyalty to our company even in these challenging times.

The top five markets included Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Australia, and the Czech Republic.

Personal presence in markets as a key tool for direct contact with clients and exchange of know-how

Throughout the year, we participated in a series of important national and international events and field days aimed at presenting and introducing new equipment models to the market. These new products further expanded our product range and meet the current needs and requirements of farmers and business partners.

The DURACUT TE stubble cultivator attracted a lot of attention. This revolutionary implement is designed for vertical soil processing and efficient management of crop residues, shredding and incorporating them in one pass. The implement is characterized by high work efficiency, low operating costs, and significant agronomic advantages that contribute to improving soil structure and overall processing quality.

BEDNAR CAMP – a meeting place for business partners from around the world

In the summer, BEDNAR CAMP became a truly exceptional event that turned into a meeting place for almost all BEDNAR representatives. Under the motto “WHERE INNOVATION MEETS EXPERIENCE,” we hosted 500 business partner representatives from 29 countries over four days. BEDNAR CAMP was dedicated not only to technology but, above all, to the exchange of know-how, personal meetings, and strengthening trust, which is the key to long-term success.

Wojciech Bednar: Stable Production, Quality, and New Technologies

From a production perspective, the 2024/2025 year was primarily dedicated to stability, optimization, and preparation for the future. Despite the decrease in productivity of production lines, we managed to maintain a two-shift work schedule at the manufacturing plant, which, in my opinion, is very important.

During periods of reduced capacity utilization, we focused on improving production quality, process optimization, and internal efficiency. We used this time to review production procedures, plan, and prepare for new projects that will have an impact in the coming years.

Artificial intelligence as a partner of employees

Artificial intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly important role in production and planning. AI is gradually being introduced into production management, forecasting, capacity planning, and logistics optimization. We see it as an important tool that helps us respond to changing conditions and increase competitiveness.

At the same time, we are working on new projects aimed at end-users, including the MyBednar application. It is designed to be a modern digital tool for BEDNAR equipment owners, combining technology, service, data, and user convenience.

Despite the current geopolitical situation, crises in some markets, and unstable mood among farmers, we believe that the situation will improve. We want to thank all our employees and business partners who, through their daily work, contribute to the development of the BEDNAR brand.
