BEDNAR has introduced a new technical solution to increase the efficiency of deep tillage in conditions of a significant amount of plant residues. The fertilizer hoppers COMBO SYSTEM have special large-diameter cutting discs that are mounted in front of the unit in line with the working tine of the deep cultivator.

The key advantage of the new design lies in the sequence of operation of the working elements. The cutting discs pre-cut plant residues before the passage of the tines, preventing them from wrapping around and clogging the unit.
As a result, the deep cultivator maintains stable productivity even in fields with a large volume of crop residues.
The new solution allows farmers to combine deep tillage with simultaneous fertilizer application in one pass without compromising processing quality. This reduces time and costs for field work, as well as increases the uniformity of fertilizer distribution at the desired depth – which is particularly relevant in conditions of intensive agriculture.
