Austrian company Bauer is preparing to present its new development – a high-performance polymer tanker for liquid manure application at the LAMMA 2026 exhibition in the UK. The 21,000-liter machine, equipped with a tandem axle, has received a number of innovative solutions, including a contactless forced rear axle steering system and new software for application control with field mapping function. This was reported by PotatoPro.

The new unit will also showcase the 24-meter Vogelsang Swing Max5 applicator, illustrating the wide range of available equipment. Bauer tanks, both polymer and steel, are mainly produced for large farms and contractors working with significant volumes of manure from dairy or pig complexes, as well as waste from biogas plants.
Key features valued by professional users include a strong construction, significant functionality variability, and excellent on-road behavior during high-speed transitions between storage and field. The unique characteristic of polymer tanks is their container made of layers of woven polyester manually applied. This solution not only saves weight but is also completely corrosion-resistant. As noted by Rob Jackson, Bauer’s regional manager in the UK and Ireland, the Gelcoat outer layer protects against both the corrosive action of the contents and external dirt and weather conditions. Thanks to this structure and galvanized chassis, the tanks are very easy to clean and can look like new even after intensive use, ensuring high resale value.
The Bauer stand will also feature examples from their wide range of pumps (Helix, submersible, and PTO-driven), as well as manure separators from Bauer and subsidiary company FAN Separator. In particular, visitors will be able to see the FAN PS3.3 Green Bedding installation, capable of producing soft bedding material for cowsheds, and the fully integrated mobile Elevator complex with variable discharge height.
