A modern plant for the production of concentrated juices “Interjuice Bukovyna” will appear in Chernivtsi region. Raw materials will be purchased from local farmers. This was announced by the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Council Oleksiy Boyko.

The start of production is planned by the end of the current year.
It is noted that the enterprise will be able to process up to 1,500 tons of fruit raw materials per day. The main products will be concentrated apple juice, as well as juices from local berries: raspberries, cherries, sour cherries, plums, and so on.
Raw materials for production are planned to be purchased mainly from farms in the Chernivtsi region and neighboring regions, which will be an additional support for agricultural producers.
The project is part of an industrial park covering almost 12 hectares. The infrastructure will include warehouse premises, purification and drying facilities, administrative buildings, as well as access roads.
“In addition to the main products, the plant will produce biogas obtained in the process of fruit processing. It is planned to use it for heating local buildings, which will be an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solution for the community,” said Oleksiy Boyko.
